Job summary

PPOAR in Al-Rayyan, Qatar seeks an experienced Indian Attorney at Law to provide expert legal advice and representation to clients, particularly from the Indian community, across civil, criminal, immigration and employment matters. The role is a contract position with the possibility of extension.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Law, admission to the Indian Bar, and a minimum of 5 years’ practice in India or another common law jurisdiction.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Indian Attorney at Law

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Attorney to join our legal team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As an Indian Attorney at Law, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, primarily from the Indian community in Qatar. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients on various matters including civil, criminal, immigration, and employment law.
• Conduct extensive research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and court pleadings.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case developments.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize and provide comprehensive solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Admission to the Bar Association in India is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law in India or another common law jurisdiction.
• Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
