Job summary
Awfaz Global School in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our team immediately. Candidates must be based in Doha and available for immediate joining, with strong experience in teaching IGCSE and AS Level Science and delivering student-centred lessons.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a recognized teaching qualification and a track record of engaging learners, Cambridge curriculum knowledge, and ability to support EAL students while
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related subject with a recognized teaching qualification
- Minimum 5 years of recent teaching experience
- Experience teaching IGCSE and AS Level Science
- Good knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum, assessment requirements and examination preparation
- Experience supporting students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL)
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Currently residing in Doha, Qatar
- Available to join immediately
