Nord Anglia Education is seeking a skilled MYP Coordinator to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar. The role leads the IB Middle Years Programme implementation, supports teacher development and ensures programme integrity and high standards of student learning.

The successful candidate will drive IB authorisation and self‑study processes, coach staff, oversee Personal Project and ATL development, and collaborate with Nord Anglia University to advance MYP practices across the school.

Formación

• A recognised teaching qualification with classroom experience in an IB MYP school.
• IB MYP workshop training at Category 1 or 2.
• Deep knowledge of MYP curriculum, assessment criteria, eAssessment and the Personal Project.
• Understanding IB programme standards, practices and authorisation requirements.
• Experience in an IB coordinator or curriculum leadership role (desirable).
• Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils.
• International school experience, ideally within the Middle East (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Leading the planning, implementation and ongoing review of the IB Middle Years Programme in line with IB standards and practices.
• Managing IB authorisation, evaluation and self-study processes; acting as the primary liaison with the IB organisation.
• Supporting, coaching and developing MYP teachers in effective programme delivery, unit design and assessment.
• Overseeing the Personal Project process, service as action and ATL skill development across the MYP.
• Leading the moderation and standardisation of MYP assessment across all subject groups.
• Coordinating eAssessment preparation and external moderation submissions.
• Leading MYP-focused staff CPD and ensuring engagement with Nord Anglia University.
• Communicating MYP expectations, progress and outcomes clearly to parents and the school community.
