Job summary

KBC Technologies in Qatar seeks an Infrastructure System Administrator to manage and secure hybrid IT environments. You will handle Windows Server clusters, Linux servers, AD, GPO, and virtualization with VMware/Nutanix, while implementing automation via Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.

Applicants should have 5+ years in IT infrastructure with 2+ years in Windows and Linux, and strong cloud, backup, and DR capabilities. Excellent documentation and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure administration experience with 2+ years in Windows and Linux.
• Strong Windows Server administration: AD, GPO, PowerShell, clustering.
• Advanced Red Hat-based Linux management and hardening.
• Hands-on virtualization experience: VMware, Nutanix.
• Experience with hybrid/public cloud, backup, DR, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments, AD, GPO, PowerShell, and clustering.
• Manage Linux servers (Red Hat-based) including installation, patching, and tuning.
• Deploy and optimize VMware and Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Configure hybrid/public cloud resources, storage, and networking.
• Design and execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive measures for complex issues.
• Maintain security hardening, patch cycles, and compliance.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and operations procedures.
• Collaborate with IT, software, and security teams.
