Job summary

A leading defense contracting company seeks a technician with HVAC certification and experience in electrical power production maintenance. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Four years of practical experience is essential along with strong computer skills. The role involves physical demands and operates in a fast-paced environment in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Universal 608 HVAC certification.
• High School diploma or GED; formal training on power generating equipment.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the HVAC trade.
• Computer knowledge for online training and email.
• Four years of practical experience with maintained equipment.
• Six months of Cummins AMMPS and InPower Software experience required.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.

Essential Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Universal 608 HVAC certification.


• High School diploma or GED. Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment such as : military technical training school, vocational college, and / or a four (4) year apprentice program with experience in electrical power production maintenance and repair.


• Willingness to perform other duties outside the HVAC trade.


• Computer knowledge to navigate online training, time keeping and email.


• Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain. Six (6) months of Cummins Commercial, Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS) and InPower Software experience required.


• Must be able to obtain / maintain a Secret Security Clearance. (Note : US Citizenship is required to obtain / maintain a Secret Clearance.)


• Ability to lift of up 50 lbs.


• Ability to do the following for sustained periods of time : stoop, bend, kneel, carry, reach, lift.


• Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment


• Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam
