Job description
Responsibilities
  • Conduct and assist with the development of risk assessments and their workplace implementation ensuring all safety measures are known for offshore construction operations.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce compliance of the developed HSE plan, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and marine vessel crews to ensure coordination between the differing operations to ensure all safety concerns are raised and mitigated.
  • Participate in incidents investigation, follow up and monitor close out actions.
  • Assist in the implementation of client workplace safety, environmental and hygiene management programs (Campaigns, inspection, tour).
  • Carry out audits of PTW system and site inspections.
  • Conduct Tool-Box-Talks and HSE meetings periodically as per work program
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and activities on site.
  • Compile and submit report of safety observations daily
  • Maintain detailed inventory and certification of safety equipment
  • Post all safety posters, bulletin, alert, and other safety communication as required and ensure content is shared among offshore teams.
Education, Professional Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications, e.g., NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (Familiar with Offshore Construction Projects, Shutdowns, Fabrication, Maintenance, Greenfield and Brownfield)
Language Skills
  • Business Fluent in English both written and spoken is required
  • Arabic a plus

  • Strong passion for HSE, drive to build and improve HSE culture
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore.
