Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking an experienced professional to conduct inspection and monitoring activities at petrol stations. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong focus on HSE compliance. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and be fluent in English, with Arabic language skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in inspection activities.
• Extensive experience focusing on petrol stations.
• Good knowledge of inspection methodologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and monitoring activities across all petrol stations in Qatar.
• Generate HSE site inspection reports addressing non-compliances.
• Verify compliance with PSEC requirements for petrol stations.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Carry out the inspection and monitoring activities at all Petrol Stations across State of Qatar,generate HSE site inspection reports addressing non-compliances, recommendations andany other relevant HSE concerns observed during inspection and monitoring activities.Verify that the HSE aspects relating to design, construction, maintenance and operation ofPetrol Stations, operating under the licensing requirements, fully comply with HSE Petrol Station Executive Committee (PSEC) requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Inspection activities of Oil & Gas facilities, chemical / petrol chemical industry and their associated safety systems
• Extensive experience in focussing on Petrol Stations.
• Good knowledge of HSE systems and equipment, inspection methodologies and techniques.
• Effective communicator, fluent in spoken and written English.
• Fluent speaker / writer of Arabic would be an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering orequivalent.
