Job summary

Want More is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager for Umm-Said, Qatar. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage and motivate a team, and ensure rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (hospitality degree preferred), at least 2 years in a managerial housekeeping role, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position requires flexibility including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or resort setting.
• Prior experience working with Malayalee employees is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures in line with company standards and guest expectations.
• Train, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
• Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure they meet cleanliness standards before check-in.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding the cleanliness or maintenance of their room.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement.
