Housekeeping Manager - Umm-Said, Qatar (Indian Nationals Preferred)

Overview

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations at our hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. We are specifically looking for Indian nationals with experience in housekeeping and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement housekeeping standards and procedures to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and safety of our guests
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain high-quality service standards
  • Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and maintenance issues are addressed promptly
  • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times
  • Monitor expenses within the department budget and suggest cost-saving measures where possible
  • Address any guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a reputable hotel or resort
  • Indian nationality preferred due to language requirements for managing Indian staff members
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language is a plus)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in hotels/resorts
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
