Housekeeping Manager vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar

Location: Al-Rayyan, Qatar
Salary: 1000$

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the property.
  • Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain records of expenses, payroll, and other administrative tasks related to the housekeeping department.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
