Job summary

Marriott International is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to patrol hotel grounds, monitor surveillance systems, and ensure the safety of guests and associates at all times.

Daily tasks include patrolling floors, parking areas, and kitchens, monitoring CCTV feeds, and reporting unusual activities to the duty manager. You will assist sick guests with basic first aid and document incidents in the security logbook for swift action by hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Observation Skills: You must have very sharp eyes and ears to notice small problems before they become big emergencies.
• Emergency Response: Knowing exactly what to do when a fire alarm rings, without panicking or scaring the hotel visitors.
• Physical Fitness: You need to be strong enough to stand for long hours and walk many kilometers inside the big hotel every day.

Responsibilities

• Walk through all hotel floors, parking garages, and kitchen areas to look for smoke, water leaks, or suspicious individuals.
• Watch live CCTV camera feeds in the control room and report any strange activities immediately to the duty manager.
• Help sick or injured guests by providing basic first aid until the city ambulance arrives at the hotel.
• Write down clear incident details in the security logbook if someone slips on a wet floor or reports a missing item.
