Overview

Hotel Manager – Indian National, Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. You will also manage the hotel's budget, implement policies and procedures, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment for all staff members
  • Manage the hotel's budget and ensure financial targets are met
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide training opportunities
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and address any concerns or issues promptly
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth through marketing initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment, training, development, scheduling, and performance evaluations for all staff members
Requirements
  • Indian national preferred with excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field is required
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel operations including front office systems (Opera), housekeeping standards (HACCP), food & beverage operations
  • Must have own visa in Qatar
