Job summary

PPOAR in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for a full-time position in a five-star hotel. You will keep guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces clean and orderly, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Malayalees or Egyptians preferred due to language requirements.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linen and towels, make beds, and replenish amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish all surfaces in guest rooms.
• Clean and restock public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
