Job summary

BASH in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Heavy Driver for our Waste Management team. This on-site, full-time role requires safe operation of heavy waste- management trucks and adherence to schedules and routes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Qatar Heavy Driving License, have 2–3 years of relevant experience, and be physically fit to work outdoors. Preference given to those familiar with waste- management operations and local road networks, with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Valid Qatar Heavy Driving License
• 2–3 years of experience as a heavy driver
• Experience with waste/garbage trucks is an advantage
• Knowledge of Qatar roads and locations
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Punctual and safety-conscious
• Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned heavy waste-management vehicle
• Collect and transport waste according to route and schedule
• Conduct daily vehicle checks before shift
• Report defects or accidents immediately
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
• Follow Qatar traffic laws and company safety procedures
• Coordinate with waste collection crews and supervisors
• Maintain records of trips and collection points when required
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
