A leading logistics company in Qatar is seeking a reliable Heavy Driver to operate heavy vehicles for transporting materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a valid Qatar Heavy Vehicle Driving License, with at least 3 years of experience in construction or industrial projects. Responsibilities include ensuring safe transportation, performing vehicle inspections, and adhering to safety regulations. This role demands safe driving skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy driver in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of Qatar road networks and traffic laws.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic or Hindi an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers, dump trucks, water tankers, or flatbeds to transport materials and equipment.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely to designated locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Report any mechanical problems or damage to the vehicle immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow Qatar traffic regulations, company driving policies, and site safety rules.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining a professional attitude on-site and on the road.
