Overview

Job Summary:

The Head of Sales will define and lead the strategic and operational direction of Petrotec’s Electrical Division, with a strong focus on electrical switchgear, panels, power distribution, and automation solutions across the Oil & Gas, infrastructure, and industrial sectors in Qatar.

This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and reinforcing Petrotec’s reputation as a trusted provider of engineered electrical solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing business development, managing key accounts, leading the sales team, and fostering partnerships with OEM principals in line with the company’s growth strategy.

The Head of Sales will collaborate closely with technical, engineering, and service teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions that meet client needs and comply with industry standards.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the sales strategy for the Electrical Division, with a focus on driving growth in Oil & Gas, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Business Development: Identify and capture new business opportunities, manage the bid and tendering process, and cultivate long-term client partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and empower a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with EPC contractors, government agencies, utilities, and key end-users.
  • OEM & Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with global OEM partners to define product positioning, pricing strategies, and joint business initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and leverage emerging opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver competitive, technically robust solutions.
