Overview

The Head of Execution, reporting directly to the General Manager, serves as a deputy and independent overseer of the company’s operations across all departments (Execution, Design, and Furnishing). The role ensures projects align with organizational standards, quality benchmarks, timelines, and procedures, while providing actionable recommendations and solutions to resolve operational inefficiencies. Acting as the GM’s representative, the position safeguards operational integrity and enhances interdepartmental coordination without direct line authority over departmental heads.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess the performance and workflow of the Execution, Design, and Furnishing departments.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in project execution, design implementation, and furnishing processes.
  • Provide recommendations to the GM for operational improvements, procedural adjustments, and resource allocation.
  • Review project schedules, budgets, and quality standards across departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the GM and department heads to communicate concerns, feedback, and strategic directives.
  • Develop and maintain organizational structures, procedures, and reporting systems that promote accountability and efficiency.
  • Facilitate problem resolution in projects, including interdepartmental conflicts, process bottlenecks, or deviations from company standards.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance across all departments.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and project delivery in line with company goals.
  • Provide independent assessment and actionable recommendations to the GM.
  • Enhance interdepartmental collaboration without direct line authority.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or issues before they escalate.
  • Establish and maintain clear organizational structures and processes to improve workflow and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, Architecture, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 12–15 years in interior design, fit-out, or related project management environment, preferably in GCC.
  • Proven experience in operational supervision, auditing, or project oversight roles.
  • Extensive experience in cross-departmental coordination and organizational process improvement.
  • Track record of successfully implementing procedural frameworks and operational standards in design / fit-out companies.
  • Professional certifications in project management, operations management, or quality assurance are an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), and office productivity tools.
