Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Qatar is seeking an experienced barista to lead their team during daily shifts. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, train staff, and ensure a high standard of customer service. Essential skills include advanced coffee knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience with specialty coffee equipment. This is a full-time position with no remote work.

Qualifications

  • Advanced coffee knowledge including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing methods.
  • Strong leadership and training abilities required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks expected.
  • Experience operating and maintaining specialty coffee equipment preferred.
  • Prior barista experience of 3+ years, leadership experience is a plus.

  • Lead and supervise the barista team during daily shifts.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages.
  • Train staff on coffee techniques and service standards.
  • Maintain quality control for drink preparation.

Train new and existing staff on coffee techniques recipes service standards and equipment care.

Maintain quality control across all drink preparations and customer interactions.

Manage workflow behind the bar to ensure efficiency during peak hours.

Calibrate espresso machines and grinders to ensure optimal extraction and flavor.

Monitor inventory levels restock supplies and assist with ordering.

Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Support Outlet manager with scheduling performance feedback and operational decisions.

Handle customer issues or complaints with professionalism and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Advanced coffee knowledge including espresso extraction milk texturing and brewing methods

Strong leadership and training abilities

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Experience operating and maintaining specialty coffee equipment

Prior barista experience (typically 13 years minimum; leadership experience preferred)
