Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a dedicated General Practitioner with an interest in Stroke Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role focuses on supporting stroke and neurology teams in the assessment, acute management and ongoing care of stroke patients in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will collaborate with stroke and neurology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, participate in MDT meetings, and help maintain adherence to established stroke protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• General Practitioner with Stroke Medicine interest.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute neurological and stroke symptoms.
• Assist in initial evaluation and stabilization of stroke cases.
• Support thrombolysis pathway coordination under specialist supervision.
• Provide inpatient care for post-stroke and rehabilitation patients.
• Assist neurology and emergency teams in acute neurological emergencies.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary stroke team meetings.
• Ensure adherence to stroke care protocols and guidelines.
