As the GM of Ecommerce at Snoonu, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing our

marketplace categories, including electronics, pharmacy, flowers, and lifestyle beauty.

Leveraging your senior leadership experience and expertise in category management, you will

drive strategic initiatives to expand our product offerings, optimize supplier relationships, and

enhance the overall customer experience.

(Some of) What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive growth and profitability across Electronics, Pharmacy, Flowers, and Lifestyle Beauty categories.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and agreements to ensure a diverse and high-quality product assortment.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our product portfolio within each category by staying abreast of market trends and evolving customer preferences.
  • Implement pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, monitoring performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Technology to ensure seamless integration and execution of marketplace initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Category Managers and Analysts, providing guidance and support to drive professional development and achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and deep analysis of category performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Spearhead the 1PL strategy, leading the end-to-end merchandising and purchasing functions—this includes managing supplier negotiations, securing favorable deals and rebates, optimizing inventory days, and ensuring cost efficiency. Train and guide the team on effective procurement processes to strengthen overall buying capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards across all product categories, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.

Attitude Matters Most—But Do You Have Any of These?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or marketplace management, with a strong focus on category leadership, growth strategies, and end-to-end procurement, buying, and purchasing operations.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce operations involving warehouse management, including ownership of the commercial strategy for warehousing—from location planning and negotiation to ensuring optimal warehouse utilization.
  • Strong track record of success in developing and executing commercial and growth strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of international markets and consumer preferences is a strong plus
