Job summary

International Organization for Migration is seeking a Senior Procurement & Logistics Associate in Doha to provide procurement, asset, and logistics support to CAS office. The role involves coordinating procurement activities, managing vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with IOM policies.

The incumbent will supervise procurement support staff, generate regular reports, and collaborate with HQs and MAC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field with four years' experience; or a HS diploma with six years.
• Experience in international procurement and logistics.
• Proficiency in English; working knowledge of an additional UN language.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement actions, asset control, warehousing, transport.
• Coordinate procurement activities and train staff on policies.
• Prepare reports and keep records for HQs and MAC.
• Solicit bids, evaluate vendors, and prepare POs.
• Monitor PO statuses and ensure delivery per PO.
• Maintain asset inventory and year-end stock checks.
• Develop internal controls and risk-aware decisions.
