Job summary

The United Nations in Doha is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to lead the M&E plan for regional multi-sector projects. You will coordinate with the Program Director, M&E Director and field staff to ensure timely data collection, analysis and learning that informs program decisions.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree and at least five years of M&E experience in development settings, with strong data analysis skills and experience producing donor reports in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics, economics, demography, development planning, public health, business, law, engineering, agriculture, social sciences, finance, education or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the Master’s degree.
• At least five years of experience in monitoring and evaluation in public, corporate or any major social sector program.
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques, data analysis, reporting and indicators for project areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project’s overall M&E efforts, including design and oversight of the M&E plan and PMP.
• Draft/prepare M&E plans and templates in coordination with stakeholders.
• Support collection and monitoring of M&E activities, including data analysis and reporting.
• Identify and train staff on relevant indicators per UN and international standards.
