Description and Desired Qualifications

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Purpose: We seek a creative, self-motivated, and talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our geotechnical team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a proven career in geotechnical engineering within civil and environmental consulting. CH2M HILL offers challenging projects and opportunities to contribute to major infrastructure developments supporting Qatar's 2030 vision.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Perform design and fieldwork assignments with some independence under supervision.
• Conduct geotechnical computations using appropriate software.
• Prepare and supervise technical reports and drawings.
• Procure and oversee geotechnical field work.
• Travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geology; Master's in Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in design, site roles, geotechnical investigation, and design.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design software, including AGS databases.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Middle East experience is preferred but not essential.
