Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a skilled Warehouse/Store operator to support the Project Store operations, handling receipt, storage, and issuing of materials to user departments with accurate recording. The role requires hands-on experience in materials handling and SAP MM within the oil/gas sector.

Applicants should have a valid Qatari driving license, forklift operation skills, and knowledge of IATA/IMDG for hazardous goods. This on-site position offers growth within the project logistics team.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in materials warehouse operations.
• Forklift operation and materials handling knowledge.
• Valid Qatari driving license required.
• Familiarity with Oil/Gas industry materials specs, codes and standards.
• IATA & IMDG knowledge for hazardous goods shipments.
• Proficient in SAP materials management module.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operations of the Project Store/Warehouse by receiving, issuing, and recording materials.
• Ensure accurate recording of issues, receipts, and returns.
• Support user departments with materials handling and stock control.

Primary Purpose of the Job

Assist in the operations of the Project Store or Warehouse/yard by arranging, receiving issuing materials to user departments, and ensuring accurate recording of issues/receipts/returns.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5 years’ experience in materials warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, materials handling and forklift operation.
• Requires valid Qatari driving license.
• Knowledge of Oil/Gas, petrochemical industry materials specifications, codes & standards.
• Knowledge of IATA & IMDG code for shipment of dangerous hazardous goods.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in SAP materials management module.
