Job summary

Woopel in Qatar is seeking an experienced African Gardener to join our team in Al-Rayyan on a contract basis with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available. The role requires handling planting, pruning, watering, and general garden care in a warm climate.

Applicants should have prior gardening experience, good plant knowledge, and the ability to operate equipment safely. English communication is preferred for instruction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gardener is required.
• Knowledge of different types of plants and their care requirements.
• Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and effectively.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining gardens, including planting, pruning, and watering.
• Ensuring that all plants are healthy and well-maintained.
• Identifying and treating pest infestations or diseases in plants.
• Operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and fertilizers.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the garden area.
