Job summary

Want More is seeking a qualified French tutor to teach English-speaking students in Umm-Salal, Pakistan. This full-time role offers a salary of $1100 per month.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French as a second language and will create engaging lessons for students of all levels. Responsibilities include planning lessons, teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking, monitoring progress, recording attendance and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in French or related field.
• Teaching experience with English-speaking students preferred.
• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons according to the needs and abilities of individual students.
• Teach basic to advanced French language skills including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
• Use effective teaching methods and materials to engage students in the learning process.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on their performance.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes cultural understanding and appreciation.
