French Language Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Language Tutor to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a language tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to our diverse student population, helping them develop their French language skills and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and materials that align with the needs and goals of each individual student
• Provide engaging and interactive instruction in the French language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Incorporate cultural aspects into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the French language and culture
• Evaluate students' progress and provide timely feedback on their performance
• Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
• Encourage a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching language skills

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in French
• Bachelor's degree in French or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching French as a foreign language (experience teaching English as a second language is also acceptable)
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles and levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience living or working in an Arabic-speaking country
• Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus
• Teaching certification such as TESOL or TEFL
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms
