Job summary

Perle is hiring a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Sinhalese for a remote transcription role. Transcribe 2-speaker audio accurately, label Speaker 1 and Speaker 2, and add precise timestamps for each turn. Produce clean transcripts with no gaps and align to the two-speaker channel structure.

You will work remotely as a paid contract contributor, with daily output targets and rolling onboarding. Availability of at least 4 hours per day is expected.

• Strong written Sinhalese with accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Perle is hiring a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Sinhalese for a remote transcription role. This is a paid contract position open to qualified contributors worldwide.

Role Overview

You will transcribe 2-speaker, channel-separated audio recordings in Sinhalese. Each file has two clearly separated speakers. Your job is to produce a clean, accurate, sequentially ordered transcript with speaker labels and timestamps.

• Listen to 2-speaker audio recordings in Sinhalese.
• Type out what each speaker says, accurately and in full.
• Label each speaker turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2, matching the audio channel.
• Add timestamps at the start of each speaker turn (format: HH:MM:SS).

• Files that do not meet the quality threshold will be returned for correction.
