Doha Floral Studio is seeking a Florist Assistant to support the creation and arrangement of floral displays for events in Doha. You will assist with preparation, maintenance, and execution of designs, ensuring timely setup and breakdown for weddings, parties, and corporate functions.

The role requires a passion for flowers, a creative eye, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and good teamwork and customer-service skills. Proficiency in English is preferred; location is Doha.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a florist assistant or in a similar role.
• Passion for flowers and knowledge of plant care requirements.
• Creative eye for design with good color perception.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining detail.
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

Florist Assistant

We are a well-established floral design company located in Doha and we are currently seeking a talented Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the creation and arrangement of beautiful floral displays for various events and occasions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about flowers, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of flowers, plants, and other materials used in floral arrangements
• Help with the design and creation of floral displays based on client requests and specifications
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of floral arrangements at events such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions
• Maintain inventory levels of supplies and flowers to ensure availability for upcoming projects
• Provide excellent customer service by answering client inquiries and taking orders over the phone or in person
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling flowers, plants, and tools

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a florist assistant or in a similar role
• Passion for flowers and knowledge of different types of plants and their care requirements
• Creative eye for design with excellent color perception skills
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
