Job summary

Confidential Careers in Doha seeks a Finance Manager for its commodity trading and petroleum operations. You will lead finance, accounting, reporting, and commercial finance, partnering with trading and operations to deliver accurate insights and governance.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in crude oil/petroleum trading, strong IFRS/IFRS 9 knowledge, and experience with CTRM/ETRM and ERP systems. Big Four background preferred; senior leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA) mandatory.
• MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong IFRS and IFRS 9 knowledge.
• 10+ years in finance, accounting, audit, or commercial finance.
• Direct industry experience in crude oil or commodity trading required.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant statements and management reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and analyses.
• Manage consolidations, reconciliations, statutory reporting.
• Ensure IFRS9 compliance and coordinate audits.
• Oversee MTM valuation and hedge accounting.
