Job Description :

The F-15 Qatari Advanced (F-15QA) Maintenance Technician will perform Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance on the F-15QA in support of the Primary Contractor and the Host Nation Air Force at Al-Udeid AB, Qatar. The Maintenance Technician will operate and maintain the F-15QA aircraft systems, subsystems, support equipment, and/or provide logistics support and expertise.

Job Description Qualifications :

DRG is searching for F-15QA Maintenance Technicians with a Crew Chief or Avionics background who have skills equivalent to USAF trained Technicians.

Position Responsibilities :

  • A working knowledge of aircraft systems relevant to the assigned job field is required.
  • Ability to interpret and apply information on schematic diagrams, drawings, and charts.
  • Fault isolation and repair of assigned systems and system subassemblies is required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in the repair of systems relevant to the assigned job field is required. Experience will include troubleshooting systems to component level and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, powerplant, etc.
  • Experience will include repairing line replaceable units to component level, conductor repair, and component removal and replacement, including applicable soldering procedures and precautions.
  • Experience will include troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, hydraulics, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems as applicable.
  • Experience in performing miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing fluids, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
  • Must possess advanced skills to perform calibrations, adjustments, and tests on aircraft systems and components; analyze operation, verify discrepancies, isolate malfunctions, and replace defective components used in installed devices.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods, and have the ability to climb ladders and stairs. Normal color vision is required.
