Job summary

Jing Hau in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Surveyor to join our team and perform field surveys, collect data, and produce maps and detailed reports. You will work with GPS systems and total station equipment to ensure accurate measurements for land, buildings and structures used by our company.

The role requires critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to interpret survey data to support project design and verification at construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred.
• Experience conducting land surveys desirable.
• Strong GPS knowledge and surveying instrumentation.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical plans accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Researching and interpreting survey data to identify geographic features such as boundaries, elevations and other measurements.
• Creating maps and detailed reports based on collected survey data.
• Utilizing GPS systems and other surveying instruments to accurately measure distances.
• Participating in field surveys by gathering information to create an accurate area understanding.
• Working with the project team to establish design parameters for projects with precise geographical information.
• Visiting construction sites to verify survey accuracy and provide corrective guidance.
• Keeping records of surveys, measurements, reports and photographs for future reference.
