Job description

We are looking for a Field Service Representative for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: ASAP

Location: Doha Qatar

Qualification and Experience required
  • Electrical Engineering Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) with 5+ years of experience.
  • Power Systems Knowledge: Thorough understanding of power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Software Proficiency
  • Experience with Schneider Electric hardware (ION meters, PLCs, and gateways) software (Power Monitoring Expert, Power SCADA Expert, Wonderware), proficiency in relevant programming languages (Visual Basic, C / C++, Java, Python), and SQL databases.
Industry Knowledge
  • Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, BACnet) and electrical equipment (switchgear, generators, relays, UPS systems).
Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to analyse customer power monitoring data, identify performance gaps, and propose solutions.
Customer Focus
  • Desire to grow, develop, and provide excellent customer service.
