Position: Female Banquet Supervisor - Arabic Speaker

We are currently seeking a Female Banquet Supervisor who is fluent in Arabic to join at a luxury 5-star hotel in Doha Qatar. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in banquet or event management and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Banquet Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of events and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all banquet operations including set-up service and breakdown
  • Ensure that all events are executed according to the clients specifications and company standards
  • Train and supervise banquet staff including servers bartenders and support staff
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with clients responding to their needs and requests promptly
  • Monitor and control banquet expenses including labor equipment and supplies
  • Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to ensure all details are confirmed and understood
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and address any issues or concerns with clients
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless event experience for clients
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banquet or event management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and event planning
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
