Hilton Doha is recruiting an Assistant Gym Manager to oversee daily spa and fitness operations on site, delivering warm hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, supervise facilities, and coordinate staff coverage while maintaining health and safety standards.

You’ll lead tours of the Spa, pool, and fitness areas, manage equipment usage, and support reception duties as needed within a luxury hospitality context.

As an Assistant Gym Manager, you’re not just helping oversee daily spa operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Greeting guests immediately with a sincere and friendly welcome.
• Assist guests in their needs & safety related to the pool & fitness area.
• Provide tours of the Spa, pool, and fitness facilities.
• Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of general pool & fitness area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool / fitness furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves.
• Deep cleaning when requested.
• Instruct and direct guests in correct usage of all facilities and equipment.
• Confirm guest registration prior to issuing Hotel property.
• Follow health & safety procedures including sanitization of all areas and equipment.
• Monitor product inventory to minimize the loss of hotel property.
• Raise maintenance issues via property reporting system and to direct supervisors.
• Monthly inventory counts including products, equipment, and towels.
• Covering reception desks when necessary or requested by supervisors and management.
• Providing lists of items required for ordering on weekly basis.
• Guest and Member experience.

A Fitness Instructor will also be required to schedule adequate staff coverage. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Carry out fitness assessments on members as required.
• Conduct fitness programs and inductions.
• Understand and advise members and guests on the correct usage of gym equipment.
• Ensure adequate coverage of the pool, gym, and reception.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception, changing rooms, pool side and gym facilities.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Promote the facilities to hotel residents and perspective members.
