Qualifications

• At least 3 years of painting experience in construction or related environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good understanding of color theory and color matching.
• Knowledge of paints and finishes such as oil-based paints and varnishes.
• Attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old layers of paint, applying putty and other solutions as required.
• Mix and match colors according to the requirements and specifications of the job.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture and other items as assigned.
• Operate paint sprayers and other painting equipment properly.
• Maintain all painting equipment including brushes, rollers, ladders etc.
• Clean up after each job is complete to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow safety regulations at all times to avoid any accidents or injuries.
