Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating Excavator is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Knowledge of safety regulations within the industry.
• Physically fit with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely according to regulations and good practices.
• Work on difficult terrain while maintaining safety standards.
• Load materials into trucks, carts, or other conveyances.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on the excavator as needed.
• Inspect excavator daily for mechanical problems or damage.
