A prominent event management firm in Doha is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a major exhibition. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in event management, strong proficiency in Arabic and English, and excellent organization and communication skills. Responsibilities include developing project plans, liaising with management companies, and ensuring successful event delivery.

Objective

To appoint an Event Project Manager who will oversee the planning, organization, execution, and promotion of the Strategy Launch Exhibition, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Scope of Work Includes

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop detailed project plan and timeline
  • Define milestones and deliverables
  • Align event concept with Company’s brand and strategy

Liaison with Event Management Company

  • Act as primary contact
  • Review and approve designs and proposals
  • Monitor compliance with budget and quality

Coordination with Venue Management

  • Secure permits and approvals
  • Ensure health, safety, and technical compliance
  • Manage venue access and logistics

Internal Coordination

  • Work with design/communications team
  • Facilitate internal approvals
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding

Media & Communications Campaign Management

  • Coordinate with Communications Dept.
  • Integrate media campaign into event plan
  • Oversee brand alignment

Event Execution Oversight

  • Supervise setup and operations
  • Ensure technical and accessibility readiness
  • Monitor suppliers and troubleshoot issues

Post-Event

  • Supervise dismantling
  • Consolidate media coverage
  • Prepare final closure report

Governance & Quality Framework

  • Risk management and contingency planning
  • Performance metrics and feedback mechanisms
  • Accessibility compliance across all event components
