Job summary

Crystal Oilfield Services in Qatar is hiring an Estimation Engineer to manage the full estimation cycle for Oil & Gas EPC projects. You will prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and tender pricing, and coordinate with procurement and construction teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, proven estimation experience in Oil & Gas/EPC, strong Excel skills, and ability to work under tender deadlines in a fast-paced Qatar market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial Construction Estimation experience.
• Strong background in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Solid knowledge of civil construction methodologies and industry standards.
• Experience managing vendors, subcontractors and quotations.
• Strong negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
• Familiarity with Qatar market pricing highly preferred.
• Prior Oil & Gas / EPC project experience in Qatar is a strong advantage.
• Excellent MS Excel / MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and quantity take-offs for Oil & Gas EPC projects in Qatar
• Review tender documents, engineering drawings, specifications and scope of work
• Prepare competitive and accurate tender pricing
• Conduct market research, cost analysis and price benchmarking in the Qatar market
• Obtain, evaluate and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams for technical/commercial input
• Support preparation and submission of tenders and commercial bids
• Participate in vendor/subcontractor negotiations and commercial evaluations
• Maintain and update estimation cost databases and pricing recordsIdentify project risks, cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering

Through our Qatar entity and subsidiary CVSF, we deliver Engineering, Procurement & Construction solutions for major industrial and Oil & Gas projects across Qatar and the GCC.
