Job summary

Arab Solutions in Doha seeks an Application Architect to define and govern the enterprise application architecture, supporting modernisation and cloud adoption. You will drive reference architectures, ensure end-to-end design coherence and enable portfolio rationalisation across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• TOGAF certification is required or strongly preferred; ArchiMate, cloud architecture, integration or ITIL certifications are advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise applications, APIs/integrations, lifecycle management and modernisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the application portfolio, architecture views, reference architectures and roadmaps.
• Assess application fit, health, technical debt, and alignment to business capabilities.
• Define target-state architecture and transition roadmaps.
• Review designs against EA principles and standards for compliance.
• Collaborate with solution, data, infrastructure, security and integration teams.
• Ensure traceability between capabilities, processes, applications, data and interfaces.
• Support modernization, cloud adoption and migration initiatives with architecture guidance.
• Contribute to governance, standards and repository quality.
