A leading company in Qatar seeks a dynamic English Teacher to deliver high-quality education to secondary students following the British curriculum. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in English or Education, relevant teaching certifications, and a passion for fostering student development. Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the academic needs of secondary students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning needs and abilities.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and well-being.
Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment programs.
Candidate Requirements Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Literature, or Education (completed through face-to-face learning) – Mandatory
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – Mandatory for UK applicants
SACE (South African Council for Educators) – Mandatory for South African applicants
Experience
Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British Curriculum school preferred.
Experience working with international or multicultural student bodies is an advantage.
Strong command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency).
Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.
Familiarity with British Curriculum standards (KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5).
Passion for student learning and academic progress.
Competent in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
