Job summary

MBG Corporate Services Qatar is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional with 5-8 years in Risk Advisory for the Energy/O&G sector. The role requires leading end-to-end audits, assessing risks, and delivering detailed reports with actionable recommendations.

You will develop risk-based work programs, create RCMs, apply data analytics, and present outcomes to senior leadership. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Risk Advisory / Internal Audit experience in Energy/O&G.
• Experience in leading end-to-end Internal Audit engagements.
• Experience in ICOFR / SoX engagements and risk assessments.
• Ability to provide technical recommendations to senior leadership.
• Strong communication and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Internal Audit engagements for Energy/Utilities clients, including risk assessment, defining scope, and developing work programs.
• Develop Risk Control Matrices, perform data analytics, execute audits, and document evidences.
• Draft comprehensive Internal Audit reports and present findings to leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for new services and business development.
• Mentor and guide junior staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.
