Overview

Nationality: Native Arabic Speaker (mandatory)

Experience: 12–15 years

On behalf of one of our prestigious clients in Qatar, we are seeking a seasoned HR professional to take ownership of employee relations, engagement, payroll, compensation, and employee services within a large, complex organization. The role demands a hands-on leader who can act as a trusted advisor, while also driving policy execution, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have progressed through senior HR roles and are now ready to influence at scale, particularly in Information Technology, Telecommunication, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead expert for employee relations, handling escalated cases, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with HR and business leadership to design and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to payroll and compensation functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fairness.
  • Drive consistency in employee services including onboarding, offboarding, and HR operational excellence.
  • Interpret Qatari labor laws and ensure policies and practices are compliant, fair, and transparent.
  • Act as an advisor to line managers on employee relations risks, decisions, and communication.
  • Track, analyze, and report on employee relations metrics, identifying trends and recommending preventive actions.
  • Champion continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
  • Mentor and support junior HR staff involved in case handling, payroll, or service delivery.

Requirements
  • Native Arabic speaker currently residing in Qatar (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Law (Master’s preferred).
  • 12–15 years of progressive HR experience in large organizations (IT, Telecom, Oil & Gas preferred).
  • Demonstrated success handling complex employee relations cases and policy matters.
  • Proven experience in payroll governance, compensation frameworks, and HR services.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret HR data and present insights.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
