Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel maintenance or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and general repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, and painting.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for room repairs or other maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.
• Assist with installation of new equipment or renovations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
