Job summary

Mecton Electromechanical LLC is seeking an on-site Electrical Maintenance Technician in Doha. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, lighting systems, and equipment, while reading blueprints and diagrams to diagnose faults.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will coordinate with supervisors and other staff, keeping accurate records and completing work orders on time.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, outlets, breakers, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment.
• Repair or replace defective wiring, fixtures, components, and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other maintenance staff.
• Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Complete assigned work orders safely and within required timelines.
