Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential or commercial buildings.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems and equipment.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine wiring layouts and component locations.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to complete tasks such as testing circuits, replacing faulty wiring or components, or installing new electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other team members to coordinate work activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and ability to read technical diagrams/blueprints.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems quickly.
