Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking a seasoned professional to supervise a multidisciplined team of technicians involved in campaign activities and asset maintenance. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, strong leadership skills, and fluency in English. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge in OT cybersecurity and a higher national diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in O&G production operations or Electrical systems.
• Experience in OT cyber security.
• Ability to set and implement operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a multidisciplined team of technicians performing Campaign and Asset Maintenance activities.

Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Supervise a multidisciplined (M, I, E) team of technicians who perform Campaign activities, or who perform Asset Maintenance activities. Supervise and administer technicians within their same discipline for training and development of their skills as well as routine administrative duties.

Required Experience And Skills

• Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in O&G production operations, or Electrical systems or in similar industry.
• Fair experience and Knowledge in OT cyber security.
• Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to set and implement operational objectives, drive performance and foster a performance culture.
• Highly motivated, flexible in approach and with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work with large teams in a complex and multicultural environment. Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Computer literate in both MS Office suite and SAP CMMS.
