Job summary

A leading contracting company in the Gulf region is seeking a QC Inspector for electrical and instrumentation works in oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of inspection experience, particularly in LNG projects. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, implementing QA/QC activities, and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge and good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years working experience in oil and gas inspection.
• At least 5 years in onshore Gas Facilities projects, preferably LNG.
• Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC activities in accordance with approved Quality Control Plans.
• Conduct inspections for electrical and instrumentation systems during all project stages.
• Document inspection results and maintain records for quality assurance.
• Provide daily feedback to the Quality Manager on inspection outcomes.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems

Good understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong communication and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
