Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting an Electrical Inspector to ensure validated electrical installations meet approved designs, specifications and safety standards in data‑center environments.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, coordination with OEMs and contractors, and support for testing, commissioning, and IST readiness on mission-critical projects in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• Proven experience in electrical inspection and installation supervision.
• Experience in mission‑critical or data centre projects preferred.
• Knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, infrastructure, and safety standards.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and inspection workflows.
• UPDA certification preferred.
• Strong technical and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems including power distribution, cabling, containment, earthing, and lighting.
• Verify installation works against approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Review and respond to WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs within project timelines.
• Monitor installation of panels, UPS, generators, and interfaces.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors and contractors for EFE/LLI integration.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning and IST readiness.
• Identify quality issues, prepare NCRs, and track closures.
• Maintain inspection documentation, reports, and site records.
• Assist in snagging, punch list closure, and handover inspections.
• Ensure electrical works comply with safety standards and regulations.

Your role
