Job description

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our busy practice.

The PCN Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a Clinical Pharmacist and as an integrated part of the primary care team to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescribed medication to patients. The role will contribute to successful clinical management of patients and is shared across the PCN.

HOURS OF WORK

Your normal basic hours of work would be 23 hours per week, arranged as follows:

  1. Monday: Day Off
  2. Tuesday: Day Off
  3. Wednesday: 8am-4.30pm - 8 hours
  4. Thursday: 8am-2.00pm - 6 hours
  5. Friday: 8am-6.00pm - 9 hours

Rate of pay: Between £14.89 to £17.97 (subject to experience)

Main duties of the job

The key responsibility of a PCN Pharmacy Technician is to ensure there is a centralised, safe and effective medicines optimisation process across PCN practices.
